Glam Headbands was founded on the principle that women shouldn’t have to suffer for fashion.  For years magazines have touted headbands as hot accessories, but many women avoid them because they are uncomfortable and can create headaches.  So in November 2008,  Erika Ewers  launched a headband line that finally put a stop to headband headache.

For her entire life, Erika was frustrated with headbands because while they looked great in women’s hair, every single kind was uncomfortable in one way or another; either they slipped out of her hair, needed constant adjusting, the elastic stretched out after constant use, or they pinched her head and gave her headaches.  Finally Erika decided to take matters into her own hands and design a headband with comfort being the most important criteria.  The end result were Glam Headbands, which are lined with velvet (for grip) and trimmed with adjustable elastic.  These headbands comfortably fit and stay put on heads of all shapes and sizes. They are so comfortable that women forget they are even wearing them…until someone compliments them on their stylish headband.  Female athletes especially love them because they can wear them on the court, around the track, and during games and not worry about them slipping out of their hair.  Glam headbands actually allow female athletes to focus on their game, not their hair.
